Dear editor, The continual progression of Iran in the development of nuclear facilities should be stopped immediately. Nuclear weapons are deadly and their presence in the world shows insecurity and instigates fear in nations. The horrors of World War II should not be forgotten so quickly. The effects of the atomic bomb that was dropped in Hiroshima Japan are still evident generations after. So far, all the nuclear weapons globally at hand can eliminate completely human race from the face of the earth if a nuclear World War III happened. More efforts to stop and control the development of nuclear weapons should take effect especially if countries like Iran with known records of terrorism are doing it. All the superpowers of the world should ensure that they never use the nuclear weapons they are hiding. They are already a threat to the planet earth and its inhabitants. A repeat of past mistakes is surely foolish, yet history is there for the present to learn. KIMISAGARA
