Dear Editor, As far as I am concerned, abortion is completely against the law. Why then, should fellow Rwandans continue to carry out the practice despite awareness about the consequences? Recently I read an article in The New Times about a certain doctor who allegedly helped a young girl to carry out an abortion. Where are the professional ethics of our doctors? It is definitely important that we play our part towards respecting the law against abortion. I call upon fellow Rwandans to inform the concerned officials in case anyone plans to do so. On the other hand, the police should severely punish anyone who takes part in the act. Especially such doctors who are meant to save life! Kirehe
