This Saturday all roads lead to K-Club in Nyarutarama for the first ever Swagg Party featuring Kenyan Reggae and Dancehall sensation Kevin Wyre. Known to his Kenyan fans as The Lovechild, Wyre is one of the most loved urban musical personalities on the East African scene, thanks to his songs like Chuki, She say dat, Sina makosa, Kenyan Boy Kenyan Girl (a duet with Nazizi of Necessary Noise), and Fire Anthem, with the East African Reggae Bashment Crew. Accompanying Wyre from Kenya is DJ Creme, and Ian, a judge on the Sakata Dance Show (Kenya), our very own Uncle Austin, and Kitty, an upcoming musician. Kevin Wyre is expected to jet into the country tomorrow. The “Swagg Party”, which will be taking place every two months, will feature prominent music personalities from the region. Wyre is an R&B and reggae musician from Kenya, known from the groups Necessary Noize and East African Bashment Crew. He is also a solo artiste with two albums to his name. He has collaborated with various artistes, including P-Square, 2Face Idibia of Nigeria, Tarrus Riley, and Morgan Heritage. His latest and biggest collaboration is Nakupenda Pia, featuring Jamaican songstress Allaine. The singer has also worked as a producer at Tedd Josiah’s Blu Zebra Studios and is currently in the process of setting up his Lovechild Records
