The Minister of Health Dr Agnes Binagwaho has commended King Faisal Hospital (KFH-Kigali) for improved services since the facility was restructured in May.“We are getting positive feedback from your clients,” Binagwaho said during a meeting with KFH staff on Thursday.Dr Emile Rwamasirabo, the CEO of KFH said the restructuring led to efficiency and KFH managed to meet the break-even by covering over 80 per cent of its operational costs.“KFH has managed to provide quality health care services and improved customer care,” Rwamasirabo said during the meeting. “We will strive to ensure that the momentum and standards are maintained, there is no room for backtracking,” Rwamasirabo explained. Binagwaho also called upon the media to play an active role in raising awareness through health education, promoting customer care and denouncing poor customer care for the benefit of Rwandan people.
