Reigning champions Police are third on 27 points with three games left. APR has one game left; Gicimbi has two, while ES Kigoma still has four games in hand. “We have to win all the remaining matches, starting on Sunday against Gicumbi in order to stand a chance of winning the league title,” ES Kigoma head coach Sylvestre Medal Shema said on Friday.His opposite number of Gicumbi, Ebenezel Murenzi seems to have other ideas, “The league has entered a crucial stage where every point counts and we must win on Sunday to maintain our place at the top of the table and also increase our chances of winning the title.”
