The total turnover at Rwanda Stock Exchange increased to Rwf13.5m on Friday from Rwf958,600 last Monday.The turnover was realised from 70,100 Bank of Kigali and 1,000 Bralirwa shares traded in three deals compared to the 600 Bank of Kigali and 1,000 Bralirwa shares that exchanged hands the previous Monday.However, the bourse Share Index dropped 0.46 points to close at 218.7 on Friday compared to 219.6 last Monday. This was mainly due to the falling Bralirwa and Bank of Kigali share prices, which closed at Rwf849 and Rwf180, respectively.Bank of Kigali shares traded at Rwf180 whereas the Bralirwa counter was at Rwf849, a decline of Rwf1 each compared to the previous Monday’s closing prices for the two counters.Kenya Commercial Bank shares last transacted at Rwf175, while Nation Media Group shares last traded at Rwf1,200.At the end of formal trading hours on Friday, there were outstanding offers of 430,600 Bank of Kigali shares at between Rwf180 and Rwf199 and no outstanding bids.On the Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 144,700 shares at between Rwf850 and Rwf890 and no outstanding bids.On Kenya Commercial Bank counter, there was an outstanding bid for 5,000 shares at Rwf180 and no outstanding offers.
