National University of Rwanda continues to dominate the national men’s volleyball league after winning their last two games of the fifth phase at the weekend.NUR beat Lycee de Nyanza and Kigali Volleyball Club respectively on Sunday at NPC Indoor Stadium to move to 46 points.In the other matches, Lycee de Nyanza beat KVC 3-0 to maintain their place in the top four, while in Christ Roi lost to Rusumo High School 3-2, Rusumo also beat St Joseph 3-0.Elsewhere, INATEK were awarded three points after Group Scolaire de Butare did not show up at the venue without any explanation. The remaining league matches will be played this coming weekend when Group Scoraile de Butare take on Rusumo High School at the latter’s ground.NUR lead the league with 46 points, three points ahead of second-placed IATEK, defending champions APR are in third position with 38 points, while Lycee de Nyanza occupy the fourth spot with 36 points.The top four teams in both the men and women’s category will contest in the playoff tournament slated for October 5-6.
