Midfielder Steve Rubanguka has signed for Saudi Arabian second tier club Al Nojoom FC on a two-year deal. The Rwanda international moves to the Al-Hasa-based club as a free agent after being released by Moldovan outfit Zimbru Chisinau months after playing an integral part of the club’s Europa Conference League preliminary round qualification. ALSO READ: Zimbru Chisinau release Rubanguka The talented midfield enforcer is expected to play a key role in the setup of Al Nojoom this coming season as they hope to qualify to the top flight league. ALSO READ: Players Abroad: Rubanguka excels as most stars struggle for game time Rubanguka, 26, started his career with FC Blaasveld in 2008 in the Belgian juvenile league at the age of 12 and has gone on to feature for RFC Wetteren, Patro Esiden, Karaiskakis in Greece and Zimbru Chisinau in Moldova at senior level. He also has four international caps with Rwanda since making his debut in March 2021 against Mozambique.
