Editor,I wish to respond to the article, “Would you marry an Atheist? (As long as he is not evil, yes!)”, (Society Magazine, September 6).An interesting read it is. As a pastor’s daughter, I am guilty of marrying a very loving man, who doesn’t believe there is a God despite his parents being born again. But I would just like to leave the readers with this verse from the Bible:“Although I know nothing of what the Lord has said (on this), I say: if any believer has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he should not divorce her. And if any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to live with her, she should not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband is made holy through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy through her husband. … Wife, for all you know, you might save your husband.
