AFROBEAT musician Adolphe Bagabo, widely known as Kamichi, will be launching his latest album, Mudakumirwa, in December, at Kigali Serena Hotel. Kamichi’s album launch is expected to be live and the event starts at 5pm till midnight. The 10 track album has songs like Ako kantu, Barandahiye, Sinazuyaza, Nga yamabati, Isindw.com, Uyu mwanya, Amata abyaye amavut, and Katima Kanje ft Kidumu among others. “I am now busy looking for artistes and I am expecting Kidumu to be at the launch,” Kamichi said. Kamichi, 30, started his career at a young age singing in church choirs. He rose to fame in 2009 following the release of Zoubeda, a single featuring The Ben, which won Best Song at the 2010 Salax Awards. He has participated in two Primus Guma Guma Super Star seasons.
