Don’t seal it too tight, this ain’t no Man of Steel contest!

I don’t know about you but nothing pisses me off more than companies that try to be a bit too serious with what they do. For instance, I once bought a toothbrush and whereas no one wants to buy a toothbrush that looks like it has already been opened, must they seal the pack with cement? After breaking a nail trying to get the toothbrush out, it certainly felt that way.Then I can’t tell you just how much it frustrates me when I open a new roll of toilet paper and dudes have literally superglued it! You know when you try to unroll the damn thing and because it is glued, you start ripping pieces and making a mess of everything? Yeah, every time that happens, my dreams of venturing into making my own toilet paper surface. I once tried to open a bottle of mineral water and I can assure you I still have blisters on my hands. The cap was so tight; it’s almost as if they were determined to not let anyone sip on that particular bottle of water. I literally had to heat up a nail, poke it through the plastic cap and drink the water the way we used to drink soda when we were kids hoping it would last longer! True story!There was a time I was petrified of scratching airtime cards – I’m not even joking. There is a specific network that needed some sort of skill when it came to scratching their airtime cards – or a coin – you can never go wrong with a coin. But if you think you can just come with your eagle claws expecting to load credit after, you will erase more than you intend to – your airtime! And the killer part is the look on your face when you realise you have scratched some of the digits off your Rwf2000 card! Apparently there is a serial number that can fix the problem but seriously, if they could only make those things easier to scratch then I won’t have to go through the hustle of customer care and friggin’ serial numbers, now will I?We (or should I speak for myself?) understand that the whole concept is for buyers to feel comfortable and know that they are not buying counterfeit products but some of these things are just downright annoying. Who breaks a tooth trying to open a disposable bottle of soda really? Another true story! I appreciate the tremendous work you are doing in proving that your products are genuine but unless robots are walking the earth now, please try to make it a little easier for us.
