Editor,THIS IS in reference to Gad Ntambara’s article, “HRW should not undermine Rwanda’s independent civil society”, published in The New Times edition of August 16.Let me first of all congratulate the author for a well constructed and beautiful researched article. This is really a a very good analysis. Well, HRW should have studied our steps before engaging themselves in such a dirty and destroying work. They should put in their mind that ours is no retreat nor revenge, and on this note; let them remember that we are not ready to give up or say “Yes sir” or Ndiyo Bwana. We are not ready to reduce the pace but to multiply the earlier exerted efforts. They should give us a break; that is my piece of advice. Their plans to poor countries are outdated especially to my country Rwanda. The struggle continues.Betty K, Kigali, Rwanda
