Bank of Kigali shares traded and closed at Rwf185 yesterday, registering a drop of Rwf4 compared to last Monday. The bank had also shed Rwf1 from its price the previous week.Bralirwa counter yesterday traded at between Rwf860 and Rwf870, before closing at Rwf870, unchanged from last Monday’s closing price.The market recorded four deals, comprising of 800 Bank of Kigali and 13,200 Bralirwa shares worth Rwf11.5m, up from Rwf1.4m last Monday. A total of 1,100 Bralirwa and 2,300 Bank of Kigali shares were traded last week.The Rwanda Stock Exchange Share Index dropped 1.05 points to close at 224.25 mainly pushed by the fluctuations in locally-listed firms’ share prices. Kenya Commercial Bank shares last transacted at Rwf175, while Nation Media Group shares last transacted at Rwf1,200. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 1,135,700 Bank of Kigali shares between Rwf185 and Rwf200 and no outstanding bids. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids for 30,900 shares between Rwf860 and Rwf870 and outstanding offers of 86,300 shares at Rwf860.
