I have not yet found the right man – Juliana

Ugandan songbird Juliana Kanyomozi recently performed at the Beautiful People gala night that was held at the Kigali Serena Hotel. Lifestyle’s Joram Muhoozi talked to her immediately after her performance. Below are excerpts: How is it like performing in Rwanda? I am always happy to be in Rwanda because I am always treated like a princess. Rwanda is like my second home. In fact, I feel like spending more time here. I love this country so much. I especially enjoy performing at women’s events. Women touch a special part of my heart. I like women who are innovative and sharp minded like the ones I performed for today (Friday last week). It was an honour performing at such a dinner gala for these influential businesswomen.There is this rumour doing the rounds that you and Ian Mbugua, your fellow judge in the Tusker Project Fame reality TV show, are hitched. Let’s hear it from the horse’s mouth…First of all, Juliana of today is actually more than just mature. My relationship status is a private matter which I am not willing to discuss in the media – at least not now. The rumour that I am getting married to Ian is just that – a rumour. I will get married at the right time, when I find the right man. A man who is respectful and God fearing.Tell us how you became a judge on Tusker Project FameI don’t know what criteria they used to choose me but I remember receiving a call one day as I was withdrawing some money from the bank: “Hi, is this Juliana? We would wish to work with you as a judge in Tusker Project Fame.” At first I was scared because this was something I had not done before. I was only used to performing my songs on stage. That’s all. But it has provided me with an opportunity to do something different other than singing.
