I know the headline doesn’t give me much credit but hear a brother out. It was a day I can never forget; even my friends still talk about it. This story goes back to when I was in high school. I was the most bullied boy in school, probably because I was an introvert.I remember telling my mum about the bullying and she assumed I was making up stories to change schools. “Son, this school is the best. Do you know that some ministers in this country went to school there?” she said. An image of a minister being bullied flashed in my mind. My mum didn’t seem a tad bit bothered by my cries. In fact, she was determined I was putting on a show. I just wanted her to do what mothers do and comfort their kids when they are low. One thing you should know is that “boys will be boys”. So whatever my male bullies did to me was just something that boys will always do. It’s their nature and I don’t blame them. But this is where I turned RED. A girl should never do what this girl did. After lunch break as I sat with my friends, out of nowhere this girl came and threw my books away telling me to take my conversation to some other place and not near her. Okay, I assume you can guess what I was thinking at that time. In front of my friends? I had to do something. Check this, I literally stood up and pushed her, she stumbled a bit and then fell on her chest. I felt great but that wasn’t it. She got up and hit my back when I wasn’t looking. I know some guys will say that they will never hit a girl but I beat the crap out of her because I wasn’t going to let her make me look inferior. A female teacher came and pulled me away from her. It’s not something I’m proud of but I was not going to be made a fool of by a girl!
