PRIMUS League club SC Kiyovu has signed experienced goalkeeper Evariste Mutuyimana for a one-year contract as the club seeks to gain ground in the 2013/14 national football season. The club’s Secretary General Jean Marie Nsengiyumva confirmed the development. He said, “We are happy to announce the signing of Mutuyimana.We hope his arrival will solve our goalkeeping crisis,” “He is a good and experienced keeper with a potential of even improving his level. His experience with the national team was the major factor why we picked him and we believe he will be a reliable asset for the club next season,” added Nsengiyumva. Isonga players complete deals Nsengiyumva further added that the club is chasing youthful players from relegated Isonga such as goalie Steven Ntalibi, midfielders Shadad Nsengayire and Janvier Benedata respectively. “We are still in talks with the players and their former club and we hope a decision will be reached to have them as our players,” added Nsengiyumva. Meanwhile, Peace Cup winners AS Kigali have signed right back Eugene Habyarimana and striker Justin Mico, Anderson Neza and Latif Bishira from Isonga FC. Still in transfers, Huye-based Mukura Victory Sport have finalized a deal with left back Celestin Ndayishimiye while the reigning champion Rayon Sports has signed defensive midfielder Robert Ndatimana on a two-year contract. Others, who have left the relegated Isonga club include Patrick Sibomana Pappy, Olivier Kwizera, Eric Rutanga, Abdul Rwatubyaye and Suleiman Kakira, crossing over to 13-time league champions APR FC.
