National football league side Musanze have recruited six players in their quest to reinforce their squad ahead of the 2013/14 season.Musanze FC, who finished seventh with 36 points last season, signed Bienfait Kabanda [Mukura], Innocent Mugabo [Police], Arafat Bahame and Lama, both from relegated Etincelles, Yongo from Rusizi-based Espoir FC and Kidega from second division side Unity.First assistant coach Maurice Mutuyimana alias ‘Maso’, told Times Sport yesterday that the reinforcements are aimed at building a strong team that will be able to challenge top Primus league sides.“We want to build a competitive team that can beat any opponent in the football league next season.”“We have so far signed six new players and hope to extend contracts for our players whose contracts have run out. We finished seventh last season and we want be among the top six teams in the next season,” he added.Musanze FC who earned promotion to the top flight division in the 2012/2013 season, ended last season ahead of giants Kiyovu after winning nine matches, drawing nine and losing eight respectively.
