In today’s only fixture in Pool B, Intare, who have already secured their quarter-finals berth host bottom side Pepinier. Two ties are lined up for tomorrow in Pool A where pool leaders National University of Rwanda host Rwanda Fc while Kigali’s La Jeunesse travels to Gikongoro to play Amagaju. Although there is nothing to play for between NUR and Rwanda FC, heads are expected to roll when La Jeunesse take on Amagaju. The two clubs are separated by a point. La Jeunesse are six points behind NUR but with still two games left, the Kigali based club will hope to narrow that gap. A win tomorrow will act as a morale booster for La Jeunesse ahead of Tuesday’s tie against Nyaza. With Muhanga, Musanze, Intare, Zebra, NUR, La Jeunesse and Amagaju already through to the quarter-finals, Tuesday’s tie will determine the final entry in the quarter-finals. Nyanza, who have 26 points have a stiff challenge as they needs to beat La Jeunesse by a big margin to stand any chance of edging out Stella Marise (29) to the final quarter-final slot. The other Pool B game scheduled for Tuesday will be between Espoir and Pepinier. Ends
