Editor, This is in reference to the article published in yesterday’s edition of The New Times, entitled “Watchdog: Rwanda least corrupt African country”. It is encouraging to know that this great nation is way above not just the other countries in the East African Community, but all countries in Africa. This evaluation by the neutral agency, Transparency International, clearly indicates that the Government of Rwanda’s firm stand in matters of good governance and zero tolerance to corruption are yielding the desired results. It is my firm belief that it will not be long before Rwanda moves into the top bracket of least corrupt nations in the world. Wishing the government and the people of Rwanda continued success in their quest for excellence! Clarence FernandesIndia
