Alex Dusabe thrills fans at album launch

One of Rwanda’s leading gospel artistes, Alex Dusabe, left the crowd begging for more after his Sunday album launch at Kigali Serena hotel. Throughout his performance, the crowd could not help but sway and dance along. Not even non-Christians could keep still. They swayed to the scintillating beats from their favourite gospel musicians. ‘Nyana Gorogota’ is his second album.aThe show started at 10 pm with a prayer by Jean Claude Nadyisimiye from Zion Temple and performances by Simon Kabera and Patient Bizimana followed.The man of the hour, Alex Dusabe jumped on stage amid screams from the crowd and belted out ten songs non-stop among them Ngwino, Zamuka,Kuki turira, Igihango, Ndagushima among others, using modern and local instruments.“It is really a great pleasure to have you all here I did not expect such a big turn up,” he said, thanking the attendees for their support.Dudu, famous for his scintillating and thrilling performances, Dominic and Gaby Kamanzi, also performed at the album launch that ended at 2 a.m.
