Former Sunrise FC coach Abdul Mbarushimana has joined Primus national league side Amagaju to replace Abdul Bizimana, who sighed for second division outfit Etincelles.Mbarushinana, who has also had a coaching spell with Electrogaz, Nyanza and Rayon Sports, will lead the Nyamagabe-based team in the 2013/2014 season, which starts September.He signed a two-year deal with the Southern Province club after they sacked their head coach Bizimana, who immediately took up the reigns at the just relegated Etincelles also on a two-year deal. After signing the two–year deal, Mbarushimana told Times Sport that he is looking forward to leading the team into the top six in league next season.“Last year, we finished in ninth position but we can do better and possibly finish in the top six, that is my target for the first year. We need to progress slowly but steadily, my bosses want the stead progress for the team,” he explained.Last season, Mbarushimana was in charge of second division side Sunrise but he failed to help them to promotion in top division after being knocked out in the semi-finals by Esperance.In a related development, Espoir coach Ruremesha Emmanuel has signed former Kiyovu goalkeeper Bate Shamilu on a free transfer.
