When she says ‘no’ she means ‘no’

I have been in the dating game for a while, trust me guys; it’s not rocket science when it comes to getting the point and backing off when a lady says NO. Ladies actually mean it when they say NO. Gone are the days of beating around the bush. Save yourself the embarrassment of trying too hard on things that won’t work out at all, just because you take a lady’s ‘no’ for a ‘yes’. This generation has a whole lot of independent women who mean what they say and go for what they want. It’s no longer shameful for a lady to make the first move if she likes a man. A lot has changed. Don’t fall prey to resentment and heart break just because you think a time will come when she will agree to your persistent approaches. Women are smart and can tell who wants to get into their pants and a man who loves them. Don’t misquote me, not all rejection comes from that belief. However, facts remain, when a lady does not like you, she might never like you, even if you insist. In fact, they may end up using you for comfort, financial and emotional support when they need it, but they will never love you. Kenneth, a friend, was once obsessed with a beautiful lady named Lydia. Apart from confessing his love for her, Kenneth did all there was in his power to win over Lydia’s heart. He took her to the movies, listened and judged her past relationships and availed his car for lifts whenever need rose. In a nutshell, he was at her disposal. Along the way, the dude met Lydia’s family and won their hearts in a jiffy. He thought he was getting close to winning her; meanwhile, Kenneth’s position in her life has never changed.“He is my best friend. He understands me more than anyone could,” she often mentions. A year later, Lydia fell in love and married a man she adored. While everyone called her heartless, I was busy wondering why Kenneth never took her NO seriously! If he lacked the pride to walk away and chase after love else where he should have at least had some respect for the lady’s pleas.“When a lady says no, she means wait, I will get back to you,” a male friend says. No is often translated as okay, I am confused or even yes! Leaves me thinking, do men really think women are that indecisive! In the meantime, a lot happens in the search for love because the male ego simply can’t accept rejection. Last month I read a story of a woman who was murdered by a man because she rejected his love suggestions. However facts remain, if she says ‘no’, she means it. Except for the few confused bimbos who don’t know what they want.
