The former U17 goalkeeper, Marcel Nzarora has joined youthful side La Jeunesse from league champions Rayon Sports in a two-year deal up to the end of 2015. “We have signed him. He is a young player, who has a bright future. Our team is determined to use more Rwandese youngsters who are talented. He will be good signing for us,” head coach, Godfrey Okoko confirmed the new signing. The 18-year old, who was part of Rwanda’s U-17 that took part in the Fifa World Cup held in Mexico, last year, has not been a regular for Rayon in the just concluded season. Okoko said, “Everything has been sorted out with Nzarora, he is now our player, we are happy to have him and we are looking forward to sign other young talented players.” “Nzarora is a skillful goalkeeper who is eager to pick up his game and career and we hope in our team, we will help him to rise up the top level. I hope he will improve the team in that area.” According to the Burundian-born Okoko, the team is in talks with the Ugandan-born, Julius Bakkabulindi, who was playing in SC Kiyovu last season and they want also to sign Police striker Eric Nahayo, the elder brother of U20 skipper, Emery Bayisenge.
