When listing female artistes making waves in Kigali, singer Bwiza will definitely come up as one consistently pushing to give Rwandans good music. Even though she has only been in the game for three years now, she has achieved a milestone with her first album, a celebration for making her dreams come true. The ‘I am ready’ hit maker revealed that doing music has always been a dream and the fact that she has successfully achieved this, gave her inspiration for her debut album’s title ‘My Dream’. ALSO READ: Singer Bwiza in environment conservation campaign The album which was produced by various producers includes 14 songs namely ‘Call me’, ‘Mutima’, ‘Monitor’ ft Niyo Bosco, ‘Nobody’ ft Double Jay and Allan Toniks, ‘Amahitamo’, ‘Niko Tamu’ ft Ray Signature, ‘Sexytoy’, ‘Are u okay’, ‘Mr DJ’, ‘Tequielo ft Chriss Eazzy’, ‘Rudasumbwa’, ‘Carry me’, ‘Painkiller’ and ‘Soja’ ft Juno Kizigenza. Talking about the album, Bwiza said that she is more than excited and grateful to see this happening mostly because when she started her music career, she feared that I would not work out for her. She worked on the album from January this year and says it could have not been possible without the help of her management ‘Kikac’, producers and her fellow musician Niyo Bosco, whom she says played a big role on the album. “I dedicated my album to our first lady as a statement of her profound impact on the art community. Her visionary leadership and tireless efforts have paved the way for artistes like me to pursue passions and realize dreams. I am deeply grateful for her inspiration and advocacy in championing the arts. Her unwavering dedication to nurturing talent and belief in my vision is immensely appreciated,” she said. The singer who was awarded by Imbuto foundation as The Next Diva Indi Imbuto Winner in 2021, held a listening party for her album with the support of Art-Rwanda Ubuhanzi. The producers who worked on this album include Bobpro, Madebeat, Santana Sauce, Telldem, Louder, Xonthebeat, Niz beat, and Prince Kiiiz.
