Six win in Yora Cash promo

Six MTN subscribers have become the second batch of lucky winners in the telecom’s ongoing ‘Yora Cash’ promotion.Jean Bosco Murenzi, Oscar Nzabonimpa, Rene Ngenzi, Alphonsine Uwamahoro, Japhet Ntirenganya and Jean de Dieu Murenzi won Rwf1m each.“I sent short text messages and called friends to accrue enough points to win,” said Ngenzi from Kamonyi district.Pacifique Niyonkuru, an MTN marketer, said the promotion is aimed at appreciating customers. Niyonkuru said MTN lucky customers stand a chance to win Rwf1m every day. “Basically, any activity on one’s number makes them eligible to participate. The more calls you make or text messages you send, the higher points you get and, therefore, higher chances to win.” MTN post-paid and pre-paid subscribers will benefit from the promotion. Prizes worth over Rwf50m will be given away during the four-week promo that started on May 27.
