Fire broke out at Byimana School of Sciences in Ruhango District, this time reducing A-Level dormitory to ashes. It is the third time that fire guts the school’s dormitories after the April 23 inferno which destroyed a dormitory housing about 277 O-Level male students. Efforts are being made to contain the fire, which broke out today shortly after midday. The exact cause of the outbreak is yet to be established, officials said, but following the repeated incidents, more emphasis is being put on criminal cause than the fires being a result of short-circuit as previously thought.
