Editor,One thing that I’m concerned about Rwamagana District is the rate of endless atrocities committed there by ruthless thieves. Gender based violence is also common in the District. We are really fed up of such evil and malicious acts committed by unidentified people. Therefore, night security should be reinforced. Another thing that’s playing a role in this insecurity is uncut bushes everywhere in the district. Thugs and bandits are using them as safe haven.I advise villages authorities to register any new people visiting their villages. If it’s done properly, it will be one of the best ways to tackle insecurity. Eric Mutabazi, RwamaganaReaction to the story, “Thugs hack two to death, injure 8 in Rwamagana”, (The New Times, May 22)
