I’ve been dating this girl for about a week now and damn, she thinks I‘m so loaded. There is this time she told me she was coming with a couple of friends just to introduce me to them. Seeing that I had three cute ladies coming over yet my pocket was as dry as the Saharah Desert, I had to find a way to get them to know I was as rich as they had been told. So I run to the nearby shop and borrowed a crate of beer with empty bottles in it, as many as possible. Since the shop keeper was my friend, he also gave me an extra four bottles. Real beer this time. Don’t laugh but I also borrowed a fridge from a neighbour and some fancy glasses. My room looked so good that when I entered, I thought I was lost. I had stolen the decoder that didn’t work from my cousin’s home just make it seem like I had DSTV but had it cut off since exams were approaching. (Had almost forgotten I don’t even have a TV)!Well, these girls stormed a few hours later and I was ready to receive them. They walked in and being the cool guy that I am, I welcomed them and quickly reached for the crate under the bed. I asked them to take their pick. The funny thing is that there was only one brand – Primus!I pulled out the four bottles that had real beer and rapidly shoved back the rest that were now filled with water and covered with a bottle top. As we were having a blast, I heard a knock at the door. I got to the door and found the owner of the fridge asking for it back as his mum was coming over. As I was still negotiating with him to chill out, I heard a scream in my room and saw the ladies run out. I then found out that one of them had finished her beer and wanted some more. When my girlfriend came to question me, she heard the guy asking for his bloody fridge back. She just nodded her head and followed her friends. I’m now seriously single!
