The Bishop of Gahini Diocese has called upon Rwandan’s to work harder in order to improve their social welfare. Bishop Alexis Bilindabagabo, the founder of Barakabaho Foundation, a non-profit organisation, made the remarks recently during the closure of a poverty alleviation workshop organised by the organisation and Christian Aid in Kayonza. Barakabaho Foundation advocates for the promotion of living standards of vulnerable families.He said that the foundation provides support to more than 10,000 vulnerable citizens across the country.“Barakabaho was founded in 1994 after the Genocide against the Tutsi with an objective of promoting capacity building among Genocide survivors, especially child-headed families, widows and other vulnerable groups,” Bilindagabagabo said.
