Dear editor, With deep sorrow, we Catholics in Rwanda are bidding farewell to Monsignor Léonard Rubumbira. He was one of the most loved priests in Rwanda. When people pass away, they are usually remembered for the impact they had on the people they lived with. For Rubumbira in his 60 years of service as a priest was able to mentor and encourage so many as Refugees in Uganda. His impact was a big one as he was able to start the repatriation of these refugees back to Rwanda after the liberation war of 1994. He will be greatly missed and I hope others priests will follow in his footsteps. Kabeza
