The life of a student largely belongs at school. Children spend so much time at school that actually teachers become full time parents. In this process many children fail to know their parents better since many spend many times in boarding schools. Even those attending day schools rarely get a chance to sit down and get to know their parents. The day starts with them running off to school as the parents also dash off for work. This routine makes strangers out of family members. Now with the holiday here, students should utilize this time to connect more with their parents and siblings. Making time to simply sit and chat with your father or mother can prove very helpful for the bonging of the family. Find out more about what your parents love, what they really do at work and any other questions you have always harboured but had little time because of the endless school demands. Even when it comes to keeping busy, there is no better way to achieve this by simply letting your parent know that you want to be busy during the holiday. Besides suggesting something to do at home, they may invite you to help at the family shop or send you to a relative who needs an extra hand at the farm. So go ahead and talk to the old folks.
