Do you know the importance of Easter?

Been trying to find a reason to celebrate, eat cake, ice-cream, exchange gifts, play and enjoy with friends and family! Easter is here, yet another day to throw your hand in the air, shout, dance as you praise the risen Lord.On Easter, we celebrate the life of Jesus Christ. As children you must know the importance of Easter in your lives. Jesus died and rose again so that we shall have eternal life. You can ask your parents to share the good news of Christ’s death and resurrection with the family, friends and neighbors.Children therefore must be joyful on Easter as they remember Jesus’ love for all people. Sharing and caring for each other is a way of extending this love to others.Children therefore, should celebrate this day with family, friends and the vulnerable people. There may be children in your neighborhood who do not have what to eat; you can invite them to come celebrate with you this special day. In this way, they will feel loved, cared and thought about especially on this day. Easter is simply about giving and receiving. It could be a gift, love or care. These are all gifts especially if it is least expected. There are different ways Children can spend their Easter such as;1. Going to church2. Sharing and exchanging gifts, meals with family and friends3. Visiting friends4. Going out for ice-cream, swimming, and other activities5. Watching Easter movies.
