Just let my eyes be!

The thing that really irks me about my girlfriend is her hope that I go blind when it’s convenient for her. Time and again she asks me if her dress is pretty, what shoes look nice on her, if the new design in the house is great and many more questions. Well, since I am expected to recognize and acknowledge the beauty of these things, why is it that when a beautiful woman walks past me, I can’t acknowledge her too?If I see a great car, I comment. When watching a Madrid game, I acknowledge a good dodge or a well executed goal. When I eat a delicious meal in Nyamirambo I can’t stop talking about it. That’s just me.So why does my girlfriend assume that my eyes should all of sudden go blind at the sight of a good looking woman? Of course I don’t turn around when she walks by me but if she is across the road in full view, well I can’t help it if I look for just a second or three. The funny thing is that my girlfriend also notices how hot other girls are because when a beautiful girl is close, she always looks at me just to see where my eyes are glued. Lucky for me I’ve now mastered her. I take a look and then pretend to look elsewhere because should my eyes get caught off guard, the silent treatment starts right immediately.
