A Rwandan politician, Jean Baptiste Rucibigango, has accused France of mastering political assassinations in several African countries in his latest book.In the book, Bras des Fer (the struggle of liberating oneself), which was as launched on Friday, the head of workers’ party, PSR, highlights France’s ‘negative impacts’ on the continent and Rwanda in particular. He details France’s alleged role in the 1994 Rwanda Genocide and claims of various political assassinations aided by Paris in Cameroon, Burkina Faso and the Central African Republic.The book talks about France’s arrogant approach on Rwanda through Jean Louis Bruguire, under the guise of pseudo justice against the government of Rwanda.It highlights witnesses’ evidences from the Mucyo Commission, a probe team investigating the French role in the Genocide. Rucibigango also mentions the suspects believed to have had an upper hand in downing the plane that carried former president Juvenal Habyarimana as he flew back from Arusha peace talks. He writes about ways the French ‘keep on trying to propel imperialism in Africa in a bid to maintain their political stature, thus continuing with their acts of exploitation.’Ends
