The junior national volleyball team coach Paul Bitok has named his final team for the African Junior Championships, slated for February 28 to March 9 in Tunisia.The delegation flies out to the Tunisian capital Tunis today.They will play two build-up matches against Tunisian opponents before the continental tournament gets underway. Last week, the junior team (U20) beat league side Kigali Volleyball Club 3-0 and also won Kayumba Memorial Tournament after beating National University of Rwanda 3-1.Bitok will take his young troops into this year’s 2013 Men’s CAVB Junior African Championship with a target of finishing in top four to earn a place in the world championships.“At this level, the most important thing is to reach the semi-finals. That gives usa ticket to play in the world championships. That’s our target,” he said.He added, “We need to be among the best four teams in Africa at the junior level and we are capable of achieving it.
