But if that’s the case, Swift wants to set the record straight.With the bevy of Hollywood’s hottest on her list of ex-boyfriends, Swift could be considered a female lothario. After all, if she were a man writing about her trysts, she would be among the most ruthless.Swift says writing lyrics about her failed relationships ‘is me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didn’t understand, writing a song, and understanding it better.’“To me it’s just writing songs the way I always have.” Swift said in the March issue of ELLE magazine. “It’s me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didn’t understand, writing a song, and understanding it better.”And after having to endure endless inquiries about which guy each song is about, Swift suggests she doesn’t have to explain anything to anyone.“If people want to dissect the lyrics, that’s their right,” she said. “But it’s all coming from the exact same place as where I started. It’s just something I do to feel better.”
