Editor,NICE ARTICLE Sam. Since you seem to have dedicated some of your time researching on the ‘evolution’ of telecommunication, I have a concern that might be addressed by your findings if any. A year ago, making a phone call to Rwanda from Canada or USA was as low as 0.08$/min. Today, it costs between 0.20$-0.21$. I was in Kampala, Uganda, recently and was shocked to learn that it is cheaper to call someone in Canada than dialing a Rwandan country code. In your next article, please dig deeper and shed some light on this concern.James Ruvuga, Toronto, CanadaReaction to Sam Kebongo’s commentary, “It is cheaper to call America”, (The New Times, February 8, 2013).
