Debate:How soon is too soon?

Crying over spilled milk solves nothing!There is one thing I have learnt in this phenomenon of breaking up; one party feels they have been treated horribly by being dumped and the dumper feels he or she is doing the right thing by ending the relationship for both parties to live a happy life. Personally, I would prefer someone telling me that they don’t feel attracted to me like before than lie to me; acting like everything is okay. I will not deny the fact that it extremely hurts when you’re dumped, but I believe that at one moment in time whatever has a beginning has an end. When I’m dumped, which I pray should never happen to me like ever, I would console myself by believing it was for the right reasons that the relationship ended. The way you are dumped also matters. if you sit as a couple and you talk things over and you feel that everything is not working out in the relationship, then moving on should be easy and peaceful. The worst case scenario is being dumped among friends or family and the person out of anger just shouts at you, ‘Its over between me and you!’ now that is extremely horrible. Either way, crying over spilled milk will not solve anything. It is not the end of the world; there is another amazing person waiting to brighten your world around the corner.It is so bad to be unhappy because someone has hurt you, yet for them they are out there enjoying themselves. Happiness is vital in everyone‘s life. But rather makes me realize that if I wanted so much to be with the wrong person how beautiful it will be when the right one comes along.”According to the official Psychology Today website an article by Gerry Heisler, Ph.D. “How to Get Through a Break-up”, states that after a break-up, there can be the initial horrible nightmare stage. Thoughts such as “I can’t believe this is happening!”, “Should I call?”, and “I wonder who he’s with now...” begin to run rampant in your head. Overtime, this shock can go away. The question remains what should I do now that the relationship is over? Process the loss or begin dating soon?The article further states that loss can provide a time of pain and soul searching. For many, hopefully, it can present an opportunity to develop. The suffering may provide a better conduit to bring some, closer to their Higher Power as they understand what’s happening isn’t just some random incident, but may have some deeper meaning.Therefore, moving on does not necessarily mean spending months or years healing, but its more of how and when you want to be happy.
