Kagabo scored his eighth goal of the season after recess, and at this stage, it looked as though Goran Kopunovic’s team had the three points in the bag but La Jeunesse had other ideas in the second half.Former APR striker Robert Ngunga came off the bench to score a brilliant second half free kick to put the youthful side back into the game.As the clocked ticked away, Godfrey Okoko’s team pressed even harder, forcing Police to make more mistakes at the back which Cassim Habyarimana profited from to head home a deserved equaliser off Moses Kanamugire’s free kick.The result did little to help Police and their hopes in the race, but a point moved them to 29 points, 3 ahead of second-placed SC Kiyovu, who are in action this evening away to Espoir in Rusizi.In another match played yesterday, defending champions APR were forced to a rare goalless draw by Marines in Rubavu.
