Dear Editor,This is a reaction to the article; Companies lose garbage collection contracts, (The New Times January 17). The tender processes to select garbage collection companies need to be centralised at the city of Kigali and the winners should undergo tight monitoring and evaluation of their activities. Most of these companies especially those in Kicukiro District charge a lot of money (Rwf6,500) per month to collect garbage, yet they are laden with a lot of disorganisation and poor management. We are tired of this and hence request that the situation is resolved as soon as possible.Ali, Kicukiro
