Dear editor, Since the introduction of the east African community, a number of promises were made. Some of which have been implemented while others are still in process. What bothers me most is the boarder issue. If all the five countries are in one community, why should access to another sister country be a problem. As long as illegal substances and goods are not being smuggled, people in the East African community should have the freedom to cross the borders without being severely interrogated about their movements. I think having the proper documents does not require any official to scrutinize my whole history because my name or identity is not his or her concern. A degree of privacy should be given to anyone at least. Kigali
