Of a DJTiger ‘Twist’ Ndoli, 23, is a professional disc jockey currently working at DataPro. He is a resident of Kicukiro. “When I wake up in the morning, I start planning on how the evening will go wherever I will be. I play music in bars, nightclubs, or discothèques, or at parties or even in expos.”“Music is my sole passion so I make it a point to entertain my crowd to the fullest. It all starts with my morning planning. By midday I am well versed with what I will be playing for the night and so I go for lunch at times with friends whom I hang around with till around 3:00pm when I head back to the house to prepare myself.”“I make it a point that by 5:00pm I am at the spot preparing my equipment and doing a little bit of rehearsing.”“By 7:00pm the venue usually starts to get full and by 8:30pm, trust me, one would fail to get seats as it’s then FULL. The music genres, usually soul-soothing, that are more of hip-hop and Jamaican ‘riddims’ play till the function ends. Some end as early as 11:00pm while most go on until the wee hours of the morning. “That is when I leave for home, tired and in dire need of rest.”“My ambition is to be one of the country’s finest mixers in history. Currently I am on a Rwf 5000 pay per night at Datapro.”
