Northern Province based Musanze Football Club has opened a football talent detection centre under the name, ‘Musanze Volcano’s Detection Talent Centre’, with a motto ‘your talent your business’.Club chairman, Emmanuel Rutaremara, while addressing journalists on Friday, admitted that although they have come up with the initiative, a lot still needs to be done before the centre becomes fully functional with the overall view to turn it into a football academy.The centre will admit kids aged between 8 and 17 years, and, according to Rutaremara, “the aim is to teach the players to use their talent as a business for a better future.”“It is up to them to use the opportunity for their own good, we will provide conduncive atmosphere for their learning,” he said.Former Amavubi Stars skipper Desire Mbonabucya is among of the people behind the project, which is targeting to use Musanze FC to develop football in the region.Among the things he has contributed is four pairs of full training kits, balls and other equipment for the centre, and according to sources, he plans to send more equipment next month.The target is to turn the centre into a professional football academy that the club will be relying on to produce players for the senior team and taking the excellent one for professional trials in Europe.
