Like many big names in the music industry today, Lambert Twizeyimana a.k.a Lamton was also introduced to music through church, as the choir’s pianist. His love for music elevated each day drawing it from the excitement and confidence he got from the choir as he learnt more things about music on a wider scale. Recognising the need for a more comprehensive music education, the singer pursued higher studies in music at Capital Arts Land, located in Remera. This period of intense study allowed him to refine his vocal abilities while broadening his understanding of the intricacies of music. He ventured into music professionally in 2018. Today, Lambert is a music producer and has worked with several gospel artistes and choirs. He also has 10 songs, ‘Hallelujah’, ‘Run, Work hard’, ‘Ndishimye’, ‘NGODO’(Never Go Down), ‘New year’, ‘Hallo’, ‘Thank you’, ‘Broken’ and ‘All Yours.’ The singer, who does Afro fusion and EDM, also shared that he is working on his debut album that will feature big names from Rwanda and outside. He stressed that he is planning to collaborate with other artistes to broaden his horizon and grow as an artiste, as well as work with his label Highway Music to help talents with new sounds, specifically those who are into genres that are not yet common in Rwanda like Afro EDM, Dub step, Afro Drill and Drill rumba. He noted that they will collaborate with Germany and American producers as they introduce these genres. This team also plans on hosting concerts in the near future. In a dynamic world of entertainment industry, like many artistes who often venture beyond their primary domain to explore new avenues of creativity, such is the same with singer Lamton who has defied the conventional boundaries of a music career by extending his talents into the realms of fashion. He embarked on this bold new venture in the form of a clothing brand ‘Ndishimye’ that gained attention from many people. Not content with merely establishing a successful clothing brand, Twizeyimana sought to leverage his influence and resources to make a positive impact on society. With this goal in mind, he assembled a team of dedicated professionals known as the WoW Protocol responsible for offering specialized support to various venues. He gave jobs to over 20 employees.
