Mukura Victory Sports have completed the signing of central defender Eric Niyonzima. The gangling guardsman joined the Huye-based club from Etoile de l'Est on a two-year deal after his contract with the Ngoma-based side expired at the end of the 2022/23 season. ALSO READ: Mukura close in on Vital’O ace Ndayongeje Niyonzima was a pillar at the back of Etoile in the 2022/23 second division season, having played a major role in club’s top flight promotion. The central defender was also part of the Etoile side that played top flight football during the 2021/22 before they were relegated. He is expected to bring stability to Mukura’s defence as they hope to challenge for the league title next season.
