Gatagara and Gahini emerged champions of the national Paralympics Seat-ball and Goal-ball tournaments held over the weekend at the National Paralympics Committee Gymnasium, Remera. In the finals, Gatagara beat THT 27-22 and Gahini defeated Rwamagana 17-7 to lift the Seat-ball and Goal-ball titles respectively. Kigali Institute of Education finished third in Goal-ball after knocking out Abadahigwa 19-16. In seat ball preliminary stage, Gatagara defeated the National University of Rwanda 24-8, Intwari 23-15 and lost to THT 14-22. The three day tournament coincided with a two-day workshop held at Kigali Institute of Education aimed at improving education for the blind people in Rwanda. Ends
