RwandAir has entered a partnership with the Veteran Clubs World Championship (VCWC) that will make the national carrier as the official airline for football legends traveling to and from Kigali ahead of the inaugural edition of the 2024 VCWC Rwanda. ALSO READ: Gatete among team captains to headline 2024 veteran Clubs World Cup The event, which is due from May 10-20, will involve 150 world football legends flying to Kigali for the legends tournament and five economic forums on peace, education, tourism, health and business. They will equally take part in a series of partner events around the themes of youth empowerment, green action, gender equity and investment. The VCWC is a platform for sports veterans from around the world to connect, compete and contribute to sustainable development, with eight teams taking part in 20 games with more than 40 nationalities. TV coverage of the contest will be broadcasted globally next year to over 100 million people for ten days from May 10 to May 20 May.
