You can’t say we lost for not trying because we missed six clear cut chances to kill off the game.” “We are all disappointed about the elimination but I am happy for the experience gained by this young team. We did the best with the resources that were available; there is nothing else we could have done, the players scratched where they could reach,” the Serb told Times Sport.He added, “Missing key players like Olivier Karekezi, Meddie Kagere and Mbuyu Twite, who helped the team reach the final last year was a huge blow but it also paved way for new strikers to emerge.” Micho took a much changed team from the one of last year, including up to five players from the youth team that took part in the 2012 Fifa U-17 World Cup in Mexico as well as several new faces.After 2013 African Nations cup exit as well as this year’s Cecafa Challenge Cup, Micho is left to guide Rwanda through the 2014 World Cup qualifiers due next March as well as the CHAN qualifiers in June 2013.Poor defending and goalkeeping error by Jean Claude Ndoli helped Kilimanjaro Stars snatch victory courtesy of Amir Kemba and John Bocco goals in either half to qualify to the semi finals.Both goals were created by impressive midfielder Mwinyi Kazimoto.
