RWANDA junior national team has qualified for 2013 Mens CAVB Junior African Championship which will be held in Tunisia from February 28-March 9, 2013, Times Sport has learnt.According to the Rwanda Volleyball Federation Technical Director, Christian Hatumimana, the junior men national team qualified after Morocco that finished third during the qualifying tournament held in Libya in 2010, withdrew hence handing Rwanda the chance.Rwanda, under Brazilian coach Paulo de Tarsio finished in fourth position, behind Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco.African Volleyball Confederation has just trusted Tunis in Tunisia to organise the African Junior Volleyball Championship (boys) to replace Morocco which withdrew.Hatumimana said that now what follows is to prepare the team. “We shall do everything possible to prepare the team well including playing international warm-up games,” said Hatumimana.According to the official, the team will be coached by Paul Bitok before the federation takes decision on who will be in charge for the tournament. In 2010, during Paulo one year reign, Rwanda’s U-20 reached top four in Africa for the first time.
