The 22-year old Austrian beat Sabry 64-, 6-4 in just over an hour. On top of the trophy, Melzer took home US$1300 in prize money, while Sherif walked away with US$900. In the semis played on Friday, Gerald beat Lukas Jastraunig in straight sets 6-4, 7-6, while Sabry overcame Italian Melzer Riccardo Melzer Sinicropi 6-4, 6-4.In the quarter finals, the Autrian beat Munoz-Abreu Jordi, 6-3, 7-5 while Jastraunig beat Petrone 6-3 6-2. In other quarter finals, Sinicropi beat Igoshin Alexander 6-4, 1-0 while Khaddari Hicham was beaten by Sabry in three sets 1-6 6-2, 6-2.In doubles final, the pair of Melzer and Lucas Jastraunig beat Munoz and Mark, 6-3, 6-3.Rwandans suffered an early exit last Monday. Jean Claude Gasigwa lost to German Manner Oskar 6-3, 6-4, while Dieudone Habiyambere was beaten 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 by Uganda’s Olinga David.
